Welcome Casa Amatller!

In 1898 industrial chocolatier Antoni Amatller bought a house on Passeig de Gràcia, next to Casa Batlló in Barcelona, and commissioned architect Josep Puig i Cadafalch to redesign it as his family's residence. After a thorough restoration of the main and first floor,the Amatller residence can be visited as house museum since this year. View on our map >>

Welcome Casa Lleó i Morera!

In 1902 Francesca Morera assigned noted architect Lluís Domènech i Montaner to remodel 'casa Rocamora', built in 1864. She died in 1904, and the building was named after her son, Albert Lleó i Morera. The building is located on the corner of the 'Block of Discord' along Passeig de Gràcia in Barcelona, which also includes Casa Amatller and Casa Batlló. View on our map >>

La Ricarda (1953-'63) is a serenely beautiful modernist house designed by architect Antonio Bonet Castellana. But the woodland where it stands is sandwiched between Barcelona airport and Mediterranean Sea, both of which are expanding so rapidly that they threaten its future existence. View on our map >>
