Work in Progress: Van Wassenhove House
Van Wassenhove House was designed in 1974 by Belgian architect Juliaan Lampens. This brutalist concrete icon is one of Lampens' most significant creations, where all rooms are connected and half-height partitions define the spaces. Client Albert Van Wassenhove was a teacher and bachelor, who offered the architect the opportunity to realize his idiosyncratic and radical open living concept.
